Re: I have in the Tank...
Jebadiah is 91% relibility i belive and is 13 for type that is around the same type as Dundee and Samuelo.10 VG daughters to date one is VG88 already as a 3 year.U may not like the bull but one thing u can not ignore is that he is the best Outside son so far for type. Why dont u go and look for a better Outside son and name him dont just write stupid signs that shows u are wrong because if u were wright u would be able to name a better Outside son wouldnt u!.A possible good Outside son is coming out this time he may do well his name is Comestar Best Model over 100 daughters at 58% gp or better.

He can be got so cheap in the UK today I'm actually considering using him as a sweeper.

Re: …
I'm not talking top end cows here.
No major faults and good udders. Out of middle of the road cows they could be nice sale heifers at commercial pedigree end of the market, for a cheap straw of semen.
Only a thought as yet, still looking at options.

I vote columbus for sweeper instead. he'd at least be a good midfield man.

Leader, on a decent sized order is under £10, and will make up the biggest part of the order anyway.

the only new bull that we have added to our lineup is 20 straws of a budgon bull called eisenhower.
oh! and we are going back to using the rest of our pinehurst elation as he (according to his magesty) is ok as well as a lot more wilonna delivery

…
We have so much semen on hand that we could start our own bull stud. Have Astronout among others, and even Bell's grand sire (one of the first bulls held back by a stud to await a proof) had an Ex and a VG 89 from him, a heafty amount of our own bulls collected through the years, and a whole lot of others, and we still buy the new ones. Are we crazy or just struck with the "semen hoarder" syndrome? When we do occasionally use some of the old semen, the daughters we get are just as good as the "modern" ones. I think down grading past bulls is just a way to favor a self serving semen industry and give the experts something to do.

agree with you 100% - if I were to list all the semen we have stored on farm plus the 600 odd at the local centre I'd be here all week!
and yes just as you decide that yes you would cash that inspiration the last dau in the system calves in 6 years after the last one and she's a corker and you think ....mmmm perhaps I better hang onto it a little longer!
