What do people think of him, seems to have alot of daughters scoring well ( GP/VG 2yrs)
but what are they really like? and on what lines do they work best?
sorry if this has been brought up before but i couldn't find it

I saw the group at the German Open Show, nice cows well attached udders, legs could have been better. (being a Durham son)

Their stronger point are the udders , good functional cows , compact , sqare with strong top , we saw some in our regional shows and they do find .

Nope I was thinking the same thing-I wanted to know peoples thoughs on Mr Sam :-). Saw a few here and there and there really sweet heifers. Perhaps a bull we missed.

We have 1!!

shes coming to calf in around 2-3 weeks.

not calved yet but impressed enough when i bulled her we bought some more and now have cows coming to him.

also used him sexed.

think hes a bit of a talent..? a bull doing a great job!

We still have the one in milk, out of an old Patron cow. She is compact but very correct, with a super udder (but then Mum isn't too shoddy) and great legs & feet. Doing 36kg at 140d and been between 35 & 40kg since a fortnight calved. Seems to have developed a bit of Durham's temperament and gets easily excited. Smaller than a lot of our heifers but barges her way through.

We have more semen in the tank and in teh cows on the basis of her. emoticon

We have several more in the youngstock. They are all quite thick & "chunky" as calves but are stretching out to become a lot more dairy from around bulling age.

Was looking at the sister to that first Mr Sam of ours today, by Duplex. Although only a bulling heifer, I think she will make a better beast. Only time will tell I guess.
