I am milking 3 of them en 2 of them are the first to get n the milkinlg parlor without any stress during milking. Nether heard something in dat direction....

Was chatting to a guy a couple of months ago, he's milking quite a few Duplex, don't get me wrong they're real stylish cattle and it wasn't hard to spot them at the feed rail, most of them tended to be significantly taller than their compatriots.
He did say that they were fidgety in the parlour.

It starts already as calfs: Bad drinkers. Yes they are agressive to eat aand as temperament against their herdmates . But when it comes to handle them for the show: you ain't sure you get their with them...

Last rumour I heard on Duplex was that for every straw of Duplex semen purchased you were given 2 straws of Yak semen as his daughter fertility is reported to be fairly naff.

We have one milking Duplex, shes a crazy lady, runs in the parlour, stands and kicks as the units going on, then runs out as fast as she can however when shes not running a away shes a great heifer to look at, shame about the temper!

generally nervous cows are extremely dairy cow, (I remember very well Aerostar and Leadman) not the Duplex case...

Both of mine calved at 25 md.
They are both over 10500 kg in 9 md.
and will have calving interval 10.5 md and 11.0 md.
Scored 87 and 89 points.
