Fife, Scotland

Okay, I can relate this to David, because he was born in Glasgow.
I found out that my Dad's ancestors were from Fife, Scotland!!! Which looks to be (from this image:Image
sort of around that area.
I've been trying to find out info about Fife. But all I can find is information about the fife "instrument".
Is there anybody that could help me learn anything about Fife, Scotland??? It would be very much appreciated emoticon ~Tina
