Glenn is always talking about him, we clearly can hear an influence, so i wonder if the two are friends or know each other? There is a connection between them?

Glenn mentioned a couple of times they were friends and still are. They first met around 1974. Glenn was also a close friend of David Bowie in the 70s.

Yeah, he said so back in the 70s when he heard him at the Stormbringer sessions, and particularly on "You Can't Do It Right". I check it.
