Does Jon still enjoy skiing?
Someone (it may have been Rassmus Heide's son, but I don't recall anymore) once told me that JL can handle the slopes with grace and distinction in his own right.
But I don't know if his recent knee issues have curtailed his powdery chair-lifted efforts or not.
I'd like to think that our man on the keys can do a better job on the slopes than my beloved governor of California.
If Jon is nimble enough to hook around a Bb to land on a B-natural, I think he's smart enough to ski AROUND the lift towers and pine trees......not INTO the damn things....ehh?
I wonder if he's ever skiied at the Lake Tahoe ski resorts, or whether he pretty much prefers and sticks to the European resorts in and around the Alps.
My dad used to do business abroad and told me of a ski trip to Kitzbulh (and I know my spelling of that is probably way off, so pardon me), and he said that the skiing there was beautiful, but stopped short of saying it was better than Squaw Valley or Heavenly Valley here in California.

Re: Does Jon still enjoy skiing?
I remember this funny 1985 German TV report, DP in Snow", where Jon and Paice made Gillan (I think it was) up with several ski goggles and gloves! In a Swiss ski resort, I believe, met David Gilmour there too. Jon's moustache was all white with snow!

This sounds very fascinating, but alas I have no son. Yet. ;-)
