Jon just can't stop!
What's up with Jon!?! He just released the Durham Concerto a few weeks ago, that another concerto comes out: Boom of the tingling strings available on EMI.
Jon Lord doesn't play on this one, but he is the composer and Paul Mann the conductor...And it's real good!

Well, I suppose this is why he retired from Purple. Now he gets to do all that stuff. I bet he's one happy pensioner!

The beauty of it is he can have his cake and eat it too.
When he gets tired of playing piano in classical music, he can go right back to a smokey blues joint, and scream on a Hammond, and he still feels right at home.
That's what I respect about him. He didn't become so pedantic that he forgot his roots.
