Lichfield Festival
As this doesn't seem to have been mentioned yet...
Jon Lord will be appearing in Lichfield Cathedral on Friday 17th June. His band will be:
Jon Lord Hammond organ, piano, Steve Balsamo, Kasia Łaska vocals, Steve White drums, Hannah Vassanth keyboards, Guy Pratt bass, Badke Quartet
When I heard it was in the Cathedral I thought it might be a reprise of the Durham Concerto, but with that band obviously not. It will be interesting to see what the programme will actually include.
Lichfield Cathedral (my "local" when I was growing up) is beautiful, but I have no idea how successfully its acoustics will acommodate a rock band.
