Want to buy "First Of The Big Bands"
Does anyone knows where I could buy the cd First of the big bands?
I've tried every country on Amazon but it's not there or out of stock!
Not on the DPAS site either...

Re: Want to buy "First Of The Big Bands"
Hi PT, I have this on LP & CD.
I got both of them of Ebay, you may want to try there.
Hope this is of some use to you.
Good luck in the hunting.

I've already tried there too, but with Ebay what is not there one day might be there the day after, so I'll keep on looking.

Hi PT,
I know that you are after the Cd, but the LP has tuned up on Ebay, http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2587212910&category=16138
Just thought that i would mention it anyway.

They also said they would be releasing the film "lifespan"
I have seen this and it's worth having.

Pretty much...some r'n b...don't expect much remotely resembling Deep Purple would be my sage advice. Good music - for what it is...but it put me off Tony Ashton for good. I'll always say that music and career-wise, it's a good thing that people like Jon Lord were personal friends, or Ashton would've - and should've - been learning to ask, "Would you like some fries with that, Sir/Ma'am?" I know, I know, the guy is dead, but that doesn't mean I can't slag on him like I did when he was alive.

Re: Want to buy "First Of The Big Bands"
I think it's a matter of flexability musically speakin Tony Ashton helped Lord
flex in an area that you obviously can't appreciate, what's wrong with Purple members doing other styles of music?
I understand you didn't like it but it
obviously wasn't meant for you to listen to.
