A little ditty wot I wrote...
Well, our new band (Mojo Hand - don't laugh!) has been rehearsing now for 2 months solid and we play our fist gig next Thursday, 8 May. Covers Hendrix, Clapton, Howlin' Wolf, Albert King and all that stuff.
Anyway, I made up a little tune called Mojo Rag a couple of days ago . here it is....bit derivative, I know, and yes, I know all the timing problems etc etc, but it was a first take so......

Ok........so Mojo Rag didn't prompt a response from anyone, so.................
Here's the band, in rehearsal, via our new myspace site. For the techno amp boffins amongst you, me and Alex both played our guitars (Al uses a Gibson Firebird and I use a Strat) through Blue Tone amps,........no effects at all, just guitar into solid state, vintage Marshall 'emulating' (you mean, no valves?) 30w single speaker combos....maybe you can hear why I rave about the amp so much?

Ta. I must record a version where my timing isn't all over the place.
The gig last night went unbelieveably well. Hopefully, we can get loads more gigs and tighten the set up as we go along - best place to rehearse is at a gig, don't you think! It was so hot in the pub, one of those gorgeous, warm, long summer evenings,but it was packed both inside and out.
