Some new tracks and videos on here for anyone who's interested!

I used my Yamaha AW1600 to record the gig live, only using 2 crossed mics about 30 feet from the stage, out of the way. We then put the digital recording on the youtube videos to get a better sound than the one off the video camera.
Not bad for a first go, I think?

--- Blackmore on Beck: Jeff Beck's great to listen to. I don't put myself on Jeff Beck's level, but I can relate to him when he says he'd rather be working on his car collection than playing the guitar.

Good stuff! Similar vein to the band I used to play keys in.
Looks like the same audience numbers as well although that stage looks mighty high!
Dr Feelgood were a staple of the pub rock scene and I think Wilko Johnson is still performing. There is a tentative Purple link here as well-I think Lee Brilleaux (vocals) played harmonica on one of Coverdales early solo efforts.
We often supported the likes of Nine Below Zero and The Blues Band at the Robin in Bilston, so I'm very familiar with all that kind of stuff.
They were all a great bunch of guys and there's something about this style of music that draws middle aged men to it. None of that twiddly diddly nonsense here!

Re: Some new tracks and videos on here for anyone who's interested!
Cheers.
Well, there were about a hundred people there, I guess, which was up by 50% on last year! To be fair, it's in its second year, it's all done for 'charadee', no fee, and we all have a great day. Can't see it ever becoming the next Glastonbury, but it's a gig.
It's fairly undemanding music, isn't it, on both the player and the audience. But that's why we all love it - good old stompy music that you can tap your feet to, no endless guitar solos, and most of the songs last around 3 minutes.
