You fool no one improvisation

Just recorded this new jam with my new caljam style odd parts stratocaster. Also just got a second hand jazz bass so added that to the jam. All over a DP sampled loop.

Here is the link.

All first take stuff so a bit sloppy in places. Gonna have to start making some proper stuff next.

Am using classic 69' pickups. BSM California.

I liked it Jon!

I think that sample, marked by the human voice (anyone know what it says?), makes this this a potential dance club hit! emoticon

Its just the first couple of bars from the song in a chemical brothers style loop. I thin its Glenn Highes that says somthing at the start of the track. Would be cool to make a more structured track based on the idea. Also to have a few different loops for variation and stuff. This was just off the cuff self indulgence!
cheers

Everything is cool, well done. But.......I put both video on DVD through home theater. When Ritchie plays just 2 first note E open and E on 7 fret the sound similar to the moving near tank....that's the power of Major...

Yeah, we should all buy Majors and try our best to be exactly like Blackmore, musically, personally and iconic emoticon

Very nice playing and sound, Creamstrat. Very Blackmoreish in all sorts of ways. Hey, nice jazzy ending, and that bit reminded me a bit about Malmsteens playing emoticon

I always thought the "muted" section at the beginning was because RB forgot to hit his effects pedal just as with SOW on MIJ everyone thinks it's clever iprov but I reckon he played it wrong (it's different on the other nights as well)

I've always thought this another classic Richie riff. Good stuff, but you could have tidied up before taking the photo's of those Strats! emoticon
