Whatever happened to Whips and Roses 3?
As I recall, there were supposed to be 3 volumes of the "Whips And Roses" CD's.
After the second one, there was something on the DPAS site about the next Bolin project being "very exciting", but they were keeping it a secret...but that was last winter, I believe.
Does anyone know if the third one is coming?

When Whips 2 came out I sent a message to Greg Hampton on myspace telling him how great the first two volumes sounded and that I was eagerly waiting for volume 3.
He replied and told me that volume 3 would not be DVD audio as originally planned, but rather a collection of songs with artists contributing to existing Bolin recordings, like "Sooner or Later". He mentioned that later that night he was going to talk to Warren Haynes about possibly appearing on the album.
I can only hope that the plan hasn't changed since then. I never heard back from him, but I've been very excited to hear it. I've also heard a rumor that it might be released before the end of the year.
