Oh golly...poor Paul Mann,Jon Lord,Ian Gillan,Steve Smiley and now Doogie White.
Paul Mann made it known that his word on Jon Lord was gospel and wouldn't accept any differing opinion and got so upset that he had to run back to his mommy and leave here while Jon Lord just prances around badmouthing Blackmore as if he were the Queen of England during cramps season.If Doogie were to post anything relevant other than hawking his own wares here than he might command more respect but so far I have only seen threads from him starting with "here I am' and buy this just because it's me.Even The Squeely One has enough sense to stay out of it while Gillan just hijacks other peoples brilliant posts for his own website full of homos hanging around in hopes that some woman,or homo will give him a bit of fun backstage or under a piano to feed his own dwindling ego.

One of the last interviews I heard with Jon he said that he was still in regular contact with Richie, they'd had dinner together and it was Richie's turn to buy the wine the next time around!

The internet has given us many things, including a much closer connection with artists from all musical genres who choose to interact with their "fans" via forums such as this, or their own websites.
So what if Doogie does a bit of plugging now and then, that's no reason to insult the guy. At least we get to find out things first hand. I've seen him live a couple of times and he can sing a damn sight better than me, so good luck to the fella.
Of course with your intimate Blackmore connections I can only presume you are much better informed than someone who has actually written songs with him!
Like I said, the internet has given us many things including some very unusual people!
I'm sure Doogie won't lose any sleep over it!
Anyway, I've hijacked Doogie's post so I'd better bugger off too!
P.S. I was a bit disapointed you didn't include extracts from a Monty Python sketch or an episode of The Young Ones in your last post.
