Fae wee Doogie
Fiends,
I have had a couple of PM's from people on this forum over the last couple of days regarding comments made by some forum members.
Here's the deal. I dont take any of these comments personally. Why would I?
All I try to do on this forum, which I have enjoyed every Friday for a number of years is to update you on my gigs, releases and other things that might interest anyone following my career (sarkky comment accepted).
Granted that maybe only a few are but hey, if you can get the info directly from me and it tickles you thats fine, if not then thats okay too.
So my fiends I am off to have dinner with some friends to celebrate the ageing process.
I will continue to share any info with you all. You can move on it or ignore it.
But as Purple Family fans.... and we are, dont let a couple of posters make you think that I take any of this to heart.
I dont. You either like what I do or not. I just think these forums are a good way of letting you guys know what is going on with my music.

Hah! Did you mean to start your message with 'Fiends', or was that a Freudian slip (or a few early margaritas?).
I'm glad you take that view. My attitude is that, rather like crap TV, you can always switch off and ignore it.

Glenn Hughes? You mean the guy who kindly invited JLT to sing on his albums? the most prolific former member of Deep Purple? I'm always amused when it is suggested that someone who wrote so many songs could "ruin" something.
