last post display
A question out of interest:
how can it happen that the display of the last post isn't correct sometimes?
Example: Purple Discussions danielb on 2/5 6.30

When the admins go into an aggressive post and change it into a non insulting one and somebody has answered to this post they delete last named post too because it's out of sense. Then the writer of the last post is still showed in the display although his/her post isn't to read any longer 'cause deleted.
Btw., I for myself find the way changing posts how it's done here and for what matter ever very confusing and everything else than OK.
When changing a post why not with the message:
edited/changed by .... or expletive/swear word/insult removed/deleted/changed by ....?

I've edited posts a few times. When one of us does that to a post, it says "last edited by [admin's/mod's name] [date&time]".
When a post is deleted, there will be no message of it.

I was wondering about the same thing. It appears that while the board police are happy to delete posts or in some cases entire threads faster than you can say double standards, sometimes it takes a while, up to a week, before the posts in question actually disappear while the identity of the author is no longer displayed. At least that's what has happened to my messages on numerous occasions. Maybe Herr Rezi can explain how it works.

It's expained already and up to the mods and admins of the board.
