Tell us more, please: are these Japanese versions or...? I have both as Japanese vinyl replicas, supposedly remastered, as they do sound great!

As for European/US remasters, the report in the latest DTB sounded promising soundwise, but it appears there will be no alternative takes, just remixes. Apparently DC had stopped them putting out early versions of SOF, with different lyrics and played on the Hammond. And he had said he knows fans would love to hear stuff like that!

I know I will be disappointed they'll leave out DC's original cussing bit, even though I know they will... When the silly songs were left out of WDWTWA it was apparent some people can't have a laugh at their own antics, even after so much time.

What a pity, It'd be great to hear some of those outtakes, especially SOF since it's such a great song.

I don't get it? Why would DC say that fans would love it and on the other hand stop the release?
Did I misunderstood?
From the materiel put on the WS remasters, it doesn't seem like DC minds releasings demos and unfinished songs...

I got them at Ginza in Sweden and they must be the remasters done with help of the dpas..
I bought In rock and Concerto 99 too as the price for those two is only 49 SEK.. I will give those two away to a friend.

Well, you never told us more about them! emoticon

Purpletemple, you understood right: that is how it was reported in DTB. DC's logic seems to be that he knows he's doing fans a disservice, but other interests (perhaps the vocal takes are rough and not up to top standard) are more important.

I thought for a while there... but it's Friday Music behind these two remasters.
Who ever they are.

I have deleted my order and gone for some Floyd and Springsteen instead.

Don't buy anything that isn't released through the Purple organisation. Fiday Music? Who is that? WHAT is that?

They may sell Stormbringer, but it sure ain't remastered properly!
