Good Quality Video Of Rapture Of The Deep
Hi everyone, this Is I guess an early gig on a tv show in germany early on the tour. Good quality, sounds great, Michael Bradford is filling in for Morse though:S:S. Gillan seems to be having a bit of trouble with his voice too. I'm not sure how many people this would convince to buy the new album. Anyways, here it is.Rapture Of The Deep

Maybe Gillan had one of his bad nights, but I've heard him worse. I'm not sure if this was a part of the Rapture Tour. They did some promotion work before the tour kicked off, and they had to do some with Bradford 'cause Morse had to go home because his wife was ill at the time.
I'm not sure if this performance gave them any new fans

It's not youtube, but in fact Ian wasn't in great shape that night when they played Rapture for TV Total in Germany. As he mentioned they flew over from England for this show and when they arrived Ian felt bad. Maybe he got a cold on the flight (as I get it myself sometimes on a plane). BTW: It's not that kind of bootleg, but recorded for the TV show, so one can judge...

No that performance was crap, I saw it on TV. Don´t blame everything on youtube, when the quality of the video is good and it´s more than a short snippet it´s a good proof as any.
It was from early November as far as I remember and before the tour and Gillan hadn´t memorised the lyrics yet, it was better during the tour. But on this day his voice was really shot.
