Rapture of the deep tour edition cd
Does any one know what is happening as regards to the tour edition cd of rapture of the deep.I know it was changed from a single to a double.But now amazon is sayinr June

I already have but didn't buy it myself. A friend of mine from Germany bought one for me. He says it's been there for a month now and it's available in every music store.
2CDs
1-Regular, 11 track album
2-All the bonuses (Things, Well Dressed, CQA - the mellow vsn, live versions)
The package is slightly different. The sound is exactly the same, no better. Unfortunately live tracks sound rather dull.

Yes, the sound on the live tracks are not good at all. On the first, Rapture, gillan i drowned in sound mud and distortion.
If this was to be their new live album, it would be least good of all DP with Morse live stuff.
The new version of Clearly Q Absurd is really nothing.

1) You're right: It's a matter of taste, but you got to remember that we're talking Purple here, and not some BS-Julio Iglesias meets Bon Jovi-rock band! It doesen't remind me of a Purple tune at all! Blaaaarghhh....
2) Well, M. Bradford comes to mind....

I am more concerned about live recordings. they were to be the main attraction of the TOUR edition. at least for me.

1) It IS that bad!
2) Spot on, but I think that Rapture, the song, is quite good, except for the guitarsoloes. They bore me as always.
