TETRAGRAMMATON LABEL VARIATIONS

Greetings,
I guess this would be the place to ask...Does anyone out there know what the significance of a white label Tetragrammaton issue is? Are they Mono/promo/subsequent issues? Is the silver label an original?
There is no indication anywhere (that I can find) of what these different labels are.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I have three copies(one is the Canadian Polydor issue),of The Book of Taliesyn...two copies(US I assume) have the following label variations.
Copy one has what appears to be a sprayed on, or extremely thin, shiney silver paper/foil label...so thin, you can see rough patches in the vinyl through it.
This copy has a round, blue Tetragrammaton Records seal at the top. The words "Stereo" as well as "Made in the USA-1968 Tetragrammaton Records-A Division of Campbell, Silver, Cosby Corp." are on the bottom/perimeter of the label.
The sides are designated as Side 1/Side 2.
The cover spine reads "The Book of Taliesyn-Deep Purple-Tetragrammaton Records-T-107".
Weight of this copy is: record-161grams/jacket-94grms.

The second copy has a white label with all black print. The same round record company seal (in black), at the top. Sides are designated Side A/Side B. There is a total song time on each side (the silver label does not have this). There is NO Stereo indication or "Made in the USA-1968 Tetragrammaton Records-A Division of Campbell, Silver, Cosby Corp." on the label.
The cover spine reads, "T-107-The Book of Taliesyn-Deep Purple-Manufactured and Distributed by Creative Sounds Ltd. Philadelphia, PA".
In the lower right corner on the back is printed "Jacket made in Canada".
Weight of this copy is: record-117grams/jacket-69grms.

I also have a white label copy of Deep Purple-Tetragrammaton-T-119.
This label is identical to the above white label except the sides are designated as SIDE ONE/SIDE TWO.
The spine has "Manufactured and Distributed by Creative Sounds Ltd. Philadelphia, PA" on it. There is no indication the jacket was made in Canada.
Weight of this copy is: record-112grams/jacket-69grms.

Can't help you with all the label differences. I recall that my very first copy of 'Shades' was a silver label Tetragrammaton, which I bought as an import at Virgin records back in 1975. I thought that this was the standard label. Wish I still had it.

I'm far from an expert on vinyl, but I believe Creative Sounds was the label that flooded the market with fake Tetragrammaton vinyl in the 80's and 90's. The original releases don't have anything to do with Creative Sounds and will not be marked that way.

Vinylsniff, indeed!

My collection:

Shades- T102, silver label.
Book-T107, white label.
DP-T119, silver label.

Interesting, yes...jacket of 'Book' made in Canada.

BTW: I cant read the spine of Shades...it does say 'Tet...records...', so I assume it's original.
The others are 'Creative Sounds'....

Re: TETRAGRAMMATON LABEL VARIATIONS

After looking at numerous copies on the internet, I have noticed yet another label variation...with the 1st press silver labels.
Where the one I have appears to be painted on, or of a shiny foil composition, I have seen others that are a dull grey (more than silver)appearance.
