Remember I told you that I bought one of JR Blackmore's CD's, I just got an email from the company who distributes the CD's for him and they have only just posted the CD today, I ordered the darn thing almost a month ago. emoticon

Hate it when that happens !!

I have collected little if anything of Morse era DP, guess I'm still suffering from a Blackmore hangover.

I am more interested in DP MK2, reunion DP (1984 - 91) and Rainbow. One day I may delve into the Morse era. Don't get me wrong Morse is fantastic but I have followed Blackmore since I was a toddler and I blame it all on my Dad emoticon

He used to play "Made in Japan" all the time and his favourite song was and still is 'Lazy'.

There isn't much mkMorse to snap up, thats worth any much value yet... that could change, once I get bored enough to delve into it all...

Funny thing about Lazy... here we have a southerner, and haters of his role in Purple because of that, yet these people don't stop to realise, that even though Purple aren't a southern rock band, they still can't change the fact, that Purple wrote and recorded arguably(to those who know the track) the greatest southern rock song ever made...)

Yes I think 'Lazy' is a fantastic piece of music, my Dad is a big fan of Blues music and even he said it's the best he's heard from anyone. It would be interesting to know if anyone else has ever record 'Lazy'.

Well, not very special, but it's got value to me.

The thing about ticket collecting, if you do it, like anyone else, they add up over the years, and can reflect quite a checkered past.
