With Edgar Winter opening, right? I got my tickets also. I have not seen BOC in about 15 years, should be good!

GREAT SHOW!!!

Actually, BOC were pretty good. What was a riot was that the band were pretty staid, tame, middle-aged dudes, but their bassist was putting on a massive pose display a la heavy metal 1984. He was KILLING us. What a poser! Flipping his long hair, humping his bass....turns out it was Rudy Sarzo! Go figger.

Purple were tight, energetic, awesome. My 6th time seeing them, 4th with Morse, and just about the best, to my surprise. This was pretty mucht he setlist:
Pictures of Home
Things I Never Said
Into The Fire
Strange Kind of Woman
Rapture Of The Deep
Woman From Tokyo
Guitar solo
Well Dressed Guitar
Knocking At Your Back Door
Lazy
Keyboard solo
Perfect Strangers
Space Truckin’
Highway Star
Smoke On The Water

The Battle Rages On
Hush

Cool note is Morse being sure to get bits fo "Don't Fear teh Reaper" and "Frankenstein" into his solo to salute the opening bands.
