Nick Simper live in Austria 2008 - Hush/W.T.N./And The Adress!!!!!

Hi,

great news for all Nick Simper fans, The Good Old Boys will perform two shows outside the U.K., it will be in Austria in Graz on 25.04.2008 (Orpheum) and two days later in Vienna on 27.04.2008 (Club Reigen).

Nick will use these two special shows to celebrate the 40 years anniversary of Deep Purple, so it is planned that the Boys will perform the Purple classics "Hush", "And The Adress" and "Wring That Neck".
Together with the opening act "Nasty Habits" another great song from the very early time of Deep Purple, "Emmaretta", will be performed.

Here is some info for you about The Good Old Boys members:

Nick Simper (bass)
is of course well know to all Purple freaks for the first three records of the band, "Shades Of Deep Purple", "Book Of Taliesyn" and "Deep Purple".

Alan Barrett (lead singer)
started his career with Jo-Jo Gun. Alan worked together with Chip Hawkes (Tremeloes, Horizons, which was one of Rod Evans very first bands!), Cliff Bennett and the Rebel Rousers and the Carlo Little Band (Rolling Stones)

Peter Parks (guitar and vocals)
worked together with Nick since the seventies in different groups like Warhorse, Fandango or Dynamite, but also with B.B.King, Paul McCartney, The Sweet and Simple Minds.

Simon Bishop (guitar and vocals)
who original started as a session guitarist for the BBC, toured with groups like Renaissance, High Society or The Monks. For long time he lived in Nashville where he worked in different studio productions.

Richard Hudson (drums)
is well known to all Strabs fans and composes music for television series. The multitalent also performed with Elmer Gantry and other Rock&Blues bands.

An evening with The Good Old Boys is a great experience and one not to be missed. The coming together of five great musicians on stage cannot fail to excite, and excitement, after all, is what Rock´n´ Roll is about.

Again the exactly dates and locations of The Good Old Boys Austria concerts,

25.04.2008
Orpheum Graz
Orpheumgasse 8
A-8020 Graz

27.04.2008
Club Reigen
Hadikgasse 62
A-1140 Wien

Don´t miss it!

cheers,
Gerhard
