Absolute Radio Acoustic Session with Ian Gillan and Steve Morris‏

Next week(11th-15th May) is Ian Gillan week on Absolute Classic Rock.

At midday and 4pm every day they will be playing one session track and one Ian Gillan/Deep Purple track with presenters Leona Graham and Russ Williams respectively.

Friday at 7pm they will play the session in full as well as replaying the interview they did with Ian a few months ago.

That version of Better Days just blows the whole
of the new album away. Now that he could take on the road,
without a lot of the logistical problems of the Purple schedule.

Those acoustic versions sound pretty well. I was always wondering why Purple never did the MTV Unplugged.
