And you aim to teach anyone about reality? Now come on, grow up. Like all other professional musicians even Deep Purple play music for a living. These guys play music because that's what they do, that's what they know. Why should people at 60+ suddenly change their career? And how could they make a living, if not by doing what they know?
Actually I believe that all members of DP have enough money, and this is one of the few bands out there who play because of the fun of it.

Fair enough. You're grown up. But still you might have something yet to learn about the difference between facts and opinions.
It's a fact that Deep Purple is still touring. That's not a matter of anyones "opinion". It is -literally- on the record.
How well the band perform, how entusiastic they appear, and how much "alive" they look these days, that's a matter of personal opinion. Your point of view on these matters may very well be true to you, but that doesn't make your opinion a fact that everybody else need to adjust to.
Grown up as you are I do believe you get the point.
Btw, I plan to see my all time fave band again in a couple of months, and I'll be happy to tell you if they look dead or alive to me.

1. Nobody says they ARENT touring. They would be better off not though.
2. Eheh, and here your non-understaning of facts and opinions comes to life. Well its just not true beacuse then a person could very well ˙˙think˙˙ and say the band is performing better these days then in, lets say, 1970 and by your logic it would make them right. Beacuse no real truth exists just personal truth, right?! JESUS! Get down to earth! (no dont get the album, I mean for real). Real truth exists and all that it takes to see it is someone not biased who knows and has heard his DP history to look at the current performances and see DP is at AN ALL TIME LOW!

4. Well if you wanna pay too much money to see a shadow of the former glory go ahead. And I already know now what your gonna tell me beacuse its obvious you belong to a biased, delusional group of people who cant handle the truth. Or you just settle for less. I expect a bit more from Deep Purple beacuse of who they are/were. I know you and a bunch of other people (some are my friends ) have low standards concerning DP. Well, enjoy the band

I can understand why somebody might have the opinion that Deep Purple are not as good as they once were. There is nothing wrong with that opinion (I might even share the opinion).
