New editions of the early reunion albums
Polydor in Japan are doing three paper sleeve editions of the early reunion albums, which I think are the first time they have been issued in this format. The titles are Perfect Strangers, House Of Blue Light and Nobody’s Perfect. We don't yet know if these are remastered editions. It's a very limited edition.
Oh good, it's limited; how about some much needed remixed versions! drinking

Re: New editions of the early reunion albums
Oh, for a remix, of HOBL especially. Can't happen, though, unless the label (Universal) specifically asks for it, which isn't very possible :-(

Re: New editions of the early reunion albums
It would be nice to see PS and HOBL to get a proper re-release treatment. The remasters which came out sound worse than the original editions. The shoddiness of it all is best demonstrated by the amazingly awful quality of the artwork.
As for the Japanese new editions, I'm sure it's just part of their style of doing these paper/cardboard sleeve limited editions. For example, SIUA came out some time ago.
