"In Rock"..Biggest-Selling Rock Album Ever??
That's how it's being described in the official blurb for the Glasgow concert, and I've seen it somewhere else this week as well...is this true??

Re: "In Rock"..Biggest-Selling Rock Album Ever??
As much as I love "In Rock", I'd find it an extremely remarkable occurance if it's outsold something like, say, Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of The Moon", for instance.
Then again, it's apparently being billed as 'biggest selling', which in some weird way might not mean 'top or best selling', or have anything to do with total units sold/purchased or most revenue generated/grossed...maybe the album was, in fact slightly larger in circumference than any other rock album ever manufactured.

Apparently "Back in Black" is only beaten by "Thriller" in terms of copies sold. But quite frankly who cares, "In Rock" is a fantastic album on which a great deal of DP's reputation is based.

I thought The Eagles Greatest Hits had now overtaken Thriller?

Re: "In Rock"..Biggest-Selling Rock Album Ever??
I'm just wondering how official venue sites can make such grandiose claims, when we all know there's no real basis in fact... I thought maybe China had gone Purple-mad, and it had sold like 100 million copies over there.....
