Stormbringer - remastered
Does anyone know when this is finally being released? All I've found on the DPAS site is the vague "later on this year (2007)", which could mean anything. Frankly, I'm getting a bit stir crazy here as all of the other remastered DP albums have shone great new light on an old friend, & I for one can't see "Stormbringer" being any different.

As the bonus track of Purpendicular says "Don't Hold Your Breath".
It took a long time to get the "Burn" remaster. It may take a long time to get "Stormbridger" done.

I hope they'll do a slipcase with the "Silence" art work. That should stand out more from the stalls than the traditional..
Also, I do hope they'll put in DC's original cussing but at the same time, am sure they won't. It's not just the cursing (imagine a DP album with a parental guidance, or what are those, sticker!), but recall WDWTWA: if they can't put out novelty tracks (now thirty years old...), they sure can't put out sheer profanities.

That 2007 will become 2008, then 2009.

The report says " CD 2 will have the original quad mixes in 4.1 and stereo."
So this must be an SACD or DVD-A then ?

Official release date is now January 19th 2009.
They've been pretty silent about the track listing of the 2CD version. Hopefully we (I) will be pleasantly surprised!
