It's a toss-up between the first two. At this moment I'll take the darker and unrelenting Rising.

Rising. Side two. Must be one of or maybe the highlight of Ritchie's guitar work studiowise. Stargazer first and then The solo in A light in the black is outstanding and almost long enough ! Matter of fact I'm putting my nose into the book about Rainbow. It gives a good insight into what a practical joker TMIB is. Especially the one where Don Airey had his solospot and the rest of the band went back to the hotel. After 40 min. he had nothing left to play and almost panicked. He left the band after that incident. Understandable of course but what a thing to do from rest of the band.
