I have started to consider "Classic" Rock, Blues Rock, Hard Rock and Heavy Metal to be the same thing. So my answer is all of the above for all of the bands.

np: Black Sabbath - Turn To Stone

Yeah, ain't it all just a lot of noise with screaming guitars and vocalists who can't sing? emoticon

Forgive my ignoranceL what does np mean? As for "Turn To Stone" (great song with a very cool Iommi solo imo), I always felt that was one of the Deep Purple tracks that Hughes never did with Deep Purple.
Many postersn here might disagree with me on this foloowing point, but I thought "Seventh Star" by Sabbath was the Deep Purple album that SHOULD have been released after "Perfect Strangers". Hughes was fantastic on that disc, and Iommi never soloed better, imo.
