Buy any new albums lately?
Sorry, couldn't find the old thread so started a new one. Was in town yesterday and picked up the following CDs very cheaply (I love FOPP records!) :-
Deep Purple - Burn
Deep Purple - Come Taste The Band
Rainbow - Straight Between The Eyes
Yngwie Malmsteen - Odyssey
(all replacements for vinyl copies)
Uriah Heep - Demons and Wizards
Gillan - No Fire Without Smoke (have got all the Gillan albums on vinyl, but thought it would be useful to have a CD compilation)
Bad Company - Straight Shooter
and....
wait for it....
wait for it.....
Wishbone Ash - Argus (for £5!)
My thoughts on Argus will follow shortly.

Here's some stuff I got between the Christmas holidays and the new year;
Cornerstone - Once Upon Our Yesterdays (great disc, I think I might rank it a bit lower than Human Stain though, still there are some fantastic tracks on it like 21st Century Man, End Of The World, Passion To Warfare and others)
Jeff Scott Soto - Love Parade (great singer, his first solo album)
Pink Cream 69 - S/T (one of my favourite German bands)
Pink Cream 69 - One Size Fits All
Harem Scarem - Early Years (collection of early demos from theis awesome Canadian band)
McAuley Schenker Group - Unplugged Live (found this one very cheap, think it's turning into one of my favourite acoustic albums!)
Dare - Calm Before The Storm (STUNNING band, can't be bothered to explain why  , those who don't own any of their albums do not know what they're missing!)

I've been looking in vain for an album called "Sodassa ja rakkaudessa" by a Finnish group called Mamba. The was apparently released in 2000.
It contains a fantastic song called "Vanhuus ei tule yksin".
I live in Sweden, and uou'd thought Finnish music would be easy to get here. Well, it is, but not that album..
Do any of you Finns know a good CD-retailer on the web that sells Finnish stuff?

I mailed Levykauppa X. Their website was very unifnormative about sales terms, so I'll just have to wait for their reply. (I hope my mail makes sense to them. I haven't written/spoken Finnish in ten years.)
Anyway, if they won't sell I'll try the other one.

I also got three Bathory CDs for Christmas, they are Bathory, Twilight of the Gods, and Destroyer of Worlds.
