Ice Hockey
Just though I started this thread because there is one for football.
Great round yesterday in our domestic league SM-liiga.
Tappara took a great victory with the second line-up (Öhman-Han****-Laine) being the most effective. Nikkilä at the goal was unsurpassable, great game from him.

Re: Ice Hockey
A weak start of the season from us. Only two wins in six games, and one of the losses was in a home game.
But our team looks good. Once they get the pieces together, we will be fighting for the championship.
Unless the team has decided to oust the coach, like they did in the early 1990s...

But you've won Tappara once already. Grrrr...
Not a great start from our team either, 3 losses in the first three games. Luckily the course has changed and now it's three wins in a row. Urama seems to be a capable coach though I was a bit unsure about him at first. Well, I still am but he's got a bit more credibility now.

Re: Ice Hockey
N.H.L. hockey is right 'round the corner and with any luck my Bruins will have a competitive(!) team. With the signings of Zdeno Chara and Marc Savard, the drafting of Phil Kessel and the return to form of our favorite goalie Mr. Toivonen, they should have enough depth and balance to at least give the big teams here in the East a run for their money!CHEERS

Re: Ice Hockey
Isn't there also a German in the Bruins Team?
Germany, the hockey nation! At least in field hockey - there we are worlc champions.

Re: Ice Hockey
We are in the last position in the league. I think this is the first time ever.
