What if an ad writer was presented with the task of picking specific DP songs to sell specific products? Which might he/she choose, and for what products? Which ones would you choose, and under which circumstances?
Here are a few of mine:
SMOKE ON THE WATER-- Nautical-Grade Fire Extinguishers.
HUSH-- Gun silencers.
LAZY-- Armchair Recliners.
PICTURES OF HOME-- Google Earth.
LISTEN LEARN READ ON-- "Project Literacy".
THE SHIELD-- Health or Life Insurance.
MAYBE I'M A LEO-- Horoscope Books.
AND THE ADDRESS-- Automobile GPS Navigation Devices.
MARY LONG-- Birth Control Pills.
FLIGHT OF THE RAT-- Pest Control.
MAD DOG-- Rabies/Distemper vaccines for dogs.
MANDRAKE ROOT-- Medicinal Marijuana Outlet.
RIVER DEEP, MOUNTAIN HIGH-- Whitewater Rafting Adventures Company.
BURN-- Aceteline Torches.
OWED TO G-- Guitar Strings.
MY WOMAN FROM TOKYO-- Japan Airlines.
PERFECT STRANGERS-- MySpace.
KNOCKING AT YOUR BACKDOOR-- uhhh...I'm not going near that one with a ten foot pole!
