Aunt Mary - sadly disbanded some 25 years ago, they still perform a gig every Christmas in a local pub in Fredrikstad. Bass, drums, strat and hammond. One of the finest groups ever to come from Norway.
Also check out Popul Vuh (Popul Ace), for another since long disbanded outfit.
Any metalfan should know about TNT with Ronnie Le Tekrø on guitar. Not my personal fave but this guy's the real thing, no doubt.
Then I need to mention Audrey Horne - as a big fan of David Lynch and Twin Peaks I had to check 'em out. And this was a very positive surprise. Quite hard edged, but also very dynamic, meliodic, and not at least - tasty.
Also Ricochets and Big Bangare decent stuff.
