Deadworld Update
First off, the mini-series, Deadworld: Frozen Over is running a bit later than hoped but the artist is now able to devote his full time to it and its proceeding very fast. The first issue should ship in September but he says the second issue will only be a month later than the first one so it should be close to on schedule between the second and third issue. There are some preview pages on the website (www.deadworld.info).
The Deadworld Mask looks cool and I have the prototype. Look for pix to be posted soon.
There will be some Deadworld stories appearing in THE MAMMOTH BOOK OF ZOMBIES which will be published concurrently in the UK and US. Not sure of the exact selection yet but the MAMMOTH books are widely circulated.
On the Hollywood front, still have lots of interest but I pass on anyone that wants to dramatically change things. I don’t have a problem changing names or even some of the characters but it has to have the same essence as the comic. But I was actually asked to write a script for one producer so who knows?
And last but not least, DEADWORLD will become a role-playing game. Signed up by Seraphim Guard and will utilize the same system as Call of Cthullu from Chaosium…so the possibilities for cross overs could be interesting.

Re: Deadworld Update
...Ah, finally.
Enjoyed meeting you at Wizard World, Gary.
Myself and De....uh...pit-face (not sure if she wants me throwing her name around), are working on something for you. We hope you'll enjoy it.
In the meantime, definately looking forward to DeadWorld's triumphant re-re-re-re-re-turn!

Re: Deadworld Update
will there be a continuation of regular V3 series?
if i understanded correctly federico dallochio was on board for that as well and the regular series supposed to alternate every (other?) month with Frozen Over mini, but as of FZ 01(6 months ago?) i didn`t see any new DW material.
i know that DW comics aren`t bestsellers so i can understand looong gaps between issues but maybe desperado could offer new issues(if they are done, ofcourse) for d/l on the website.
i know i would rather pay couple of bucks to read it online every month or so, than to wait for a standard copy on every couple of months.
thanks in advance for your reply, Gary.
