Re: Eric Bana (Out Of Bounds)
You're welcome Bacwood!!!
Christy.
No worries mate Glad you liked it.
I'll send you your parcel too!!
I'm so pleased to be able to help out a bit.
I know of all the people he's making fun of, but only met three of them.
Thanks so much for the MP3's!!
I love them!! Such a crack up!!
It's cool hearing his voice comming from my
computer.
You know I love a bit of dirty
language.
Eric Looks just like Dipper!! So funny!! I
love the sparkle in his cute cheeky
eyes.
But this pic is Eric as Rex Hunt, not Plugger.
The song C'mon Rexy is about this bloke.
Plugger is the guy in the pic in my previous
post with the greyhound, and the one below
it where he's kicking the footy with the St
Kilda colours ( red white and black )
Tony Lockett aka Plugger is a footy player
and is one of the guys fighting during the
game in tack 4 1st quarter of the MP3.
He used to get into lots of brawls, but was an outstanding player too.
This is Rex Hunt himself.
Rex used to play for Richmond many many
years ago, and now commentates footy.
He's also well known for his fishing show
and kissing fish before releasing them.
Eric does a great job impersonating him
Rex really does say "yibbity
yibbida" and "thank you very much" all the
time
I put the names in the lyrics you could'nt make out to C'mon Rexy!
At twelve o'clock on many a Saturday
I tune my radio a certain way
I set the dial on 3AW
To hear the legend give his point of view
CHORUS
So come on Rexy give us a clue
So c'mon Rexy 3AW
So won't you tell us who will it be?
Who's gonna be the premieres of the mighty MCG?
Will Ablett turn your call into a yell?
Will Dunstall kick the winner on the bell?
Will Modra leave you speechless yet again?
Will Plugger bring the house down once again?
I love the way you talk amongst your crew
The kid, Daics and good old Sammy too
Your choice of words brings laughter to us all!
(Eric: Ah, yibbida yibbida, magnificent, that is all!)
So come on Rexy give us a clue
So c'mon Rexy 3AW
So won't you tell us who will it be?
Who's gonna be the premieres
Who's gonna be the premieres
Who's gonna be the premieres of the might MCG?

Re: Eric Bana (Out Of Bounds)
Thanks for the rest of the cd mate.
I haven't listened to it yet,
I'm lookin' forward to it.
Don't worry you won't go to jail
Nah, it's not a dumb question mate, footy can be confusing, there are so many codes.
St Kilda is an AFL football ( aka footy ) club.
AFL means Australian Football League.
Those pictures I posted are of our AFL footy players
That's what the uniforms look like.
It's not really like soccer at all.
Except we score goals too but the goals look like this,
To score a goal ( 6 points ) the ball has to
be kicked through the middle of the two
centre posts.
If it goes through the middle of either of
the outer posts it's a point.
The ball is kicked high and long in a
similar way to American footy, but they kick
it while they are running. They sort of drop
the ball onto their boot and kick it.
The ball is almost constantly in the air.
The game is sometimes called "aireal ping pong". It's played on a big grass oval.
These are players from the Essendon Bombers ( red and black )
and Melbourne Demons ( Red and blue )
They're marking the ball ( catching it ) If
a player marks the ball without dropping it,
they get a free kick. ( kick the ball with
out being tackled )
We play with a ball similar to the one US
players use. But if you look at the ball
Eric has in the pic you'll see the ends are
not as pointy. We call it a football too.
Some pics of Eric's team St Kilda.
The football is yellow for night games.
This is St Kilda last year just after they won the Wizard Cup.
Only problem was St Kilda beat my team the Geelong Cats
But if we had to get beten by anyone, I'm
glad it was Eric's team.
This is the team I barrak for
the mighty Geelong Cats.
Many generations of my family have come from Geelong.
Gary Ablett jr. Go you good thing!!!
A Geelong player being tackled by a St Kilda player.
I just love to watch this game It's so cool.
It can get really rough at times and is an
almost full contact sport.
It can get really exciting.
Sometimes the guys shorts get ripped off.
I'll see if I can get you a St Kilda DVD so
you can see the game being played.
Soccer is played here but it's not all that
popular. We have rugby too ( which is also
called footy ) but that's not really a
Victorian sport and I get confused watching it.
Russel Crowe is into rugby.

Re: Eric Bana (Out Of Bounds)
Justv, The tight shorts are pretty good too
I was watching American football last night,
it was the first real game I've seen. I
enjoyed it, although I had no idea what
was going on The commentators kept
talking about a horse tralier.
The only other games I've seen were on movies.
Backwood, You're welcome
I grew up with footy mate, my brothers play
it. I've been to the major league matches
over 100 times and wacth my team play on TV
every week. I love it.
