It sure is babila. emoticon Also when he is saying goodbye to his wife and their baby. emoticon Hector was such a honorable and courageous character in the film.

You know I've never really been crazy about Orlando Bloom/Paris, but I really took an intense dislike to him after Troy. emoticon
Not to mention, Achilles!

We all know Orlando can't really act, he was just eye candy in 'Lord of the Rings', and I've only ever really gotten it about Brad once, in 'Thelma & Louise', think his character was supposed to be like 19 years old, even though he was, what, 30 at the time or something like that? Now, Brad from the neck down in 'Troy', yeah, I could work with that! emoticon Bounce a quarter off those abs & get change back! emoticon & I kinda liked that he was somewhat tortured & wanting to die, made Achilles a little more interesting!

Yeah, Orlando has never been of my fave actors. I used to like Brad Pitt, back in the days of "Seven", "Interview with a Vampire" and "Legends of the Falls", but lately I haven't been interested in his movies at all. Honestly, the only reason I watched Troy was because Eric was in it, like everybody else here.
I hear Brad was pretty good in "Babel" He's not a bad actor, he's just been to over exposed.
"The Devil's Own" is actually my fave Brad film.

I liked him psycho in '12 Monkeys', my husband likes that movie 'cause it's kind of a time travel thing, 'Interview With The Vampire', yeah, okay, he was good and tortured, if too pale! emoticon Didn't see 'Legends of the Fall', although I use to love Aidan Quinn, just the story line sounded too soap-opera-ish to me. What's 'The Devil's Own' about? Don't think I've heard of that one. emoticon

IMO, in "Legends of the Fall", Brad's performance was good... for shampoo advertising. emoticon

Too much 'Fabio' for me...

Well yeah, I wasn't crazy about Brad's hair in Legend of the Falls either. emoticon

CoolAngel, "The Devil's Own" was about the IRA and how it's infiltrated in NY among some Irish-Americans (only a small amount really) Brad plays an IRA member and Harrison Ford is the police officer who unknownly takes him in his home as a guest, having no idea who Brad's character really is. Of course things get complicated and the story goes from there. It's a pretty good film and Brad does a decent Irish brogue.

I don't despise Brad Pitt. I think he can act pretty decently. I enjoyed Se7en, 12 Monkeys and Snatch very much (I didn't see Babel yet).
But I can't stand the films in which his looks is an important part of the plot. And I simply hate when he does that 'upset puppy' expression emoticon -- what happens quite often in Troy. emoticon
