Possible movies
I figured with the rumors floating around it was easier to just make a section for movies EB might be starring in that we'd didn't have absolute confirmation on yet. Save some space

Howard, Bana on trail of 'BTK killer'
Tuesday October 24 3:18 AM ET
Eric Bana and Terrence Howard are attached to star in "Factor X," a thriller about the capture of the so-called "BTK killer" in Wichita.
Dennis Rader murdered 10 people in and around Wichita, Kan., between 1974-91 and was finally caught in 2005, turning out to be a mild-mannered church leader. The acronym described his modus operandi, which was to bind, torture and kill.
"Factor X," which takes its name from what he described in taunting letters to the police as his motive for murder, tells how a young, black counterterrorism expert from Washington teamed up with a Wichita police detective, who spent his career trying to chase down the killer.
Bana will play the detective and Howard the counterterrorism expert. Ridley Scott will produce the New Line project, and could also direct.
The script will be written by Gregory Allen Howard, who made a name for himself writing real-life inspirational sports dramas such as "Remember the Titans" and "Ali." Howard came across counterterrorism expert Stanley Campbell at a dinner party thrown by his cousin, a federal judge.
After Howard learned of Campbell's story, and how he invented a data reduction process to rule out suspects, he doggedly pursued the man for a year trying to get his life rights. Campbell eventually caved, partly because of Howard's promise to not make an exploitative movie.
Howard then got Bana on board, followed by actor Terrence Howard. Scott soon followed.
Bana, who last starred in "Munich," will next appear in "Lucky You" with Drew Barrymore. Howard, who earned an Academy Award nomination for best actor for his performance in last year's "Hustle & Flow," recently joined the cast of "Iron Man," which shoots early next year.

Re: Possible movies
Great news for Bana. Hes is wanted for STEVE IRWIN Biopic. Read Article..
Source: Eric Bana Wall
BANA WANTED FOR IRWIN BIOPIC
THE HULK star ERIC BANA is the frontrunner to play tragic CROCODILE HUNTER STEVE IRWIN in a potential biopic, as far as the celebrity conservationist's best pal is concerned. Irwin's friend and manager JOHN STAINTON recalls Irwin asking his fellow Aussie to play him if there was ever a film about his life. Stainton says, "He (Irwin) raced up to him on the red carpet and said 'Eric, you have to promise me one thing, mate - you've got to play me when I die.' "If we ever do a movie I'd have to get Eric Bana." Irwin's pal RUSSELL CROWE was the first name mentioned in relation to a biopic. He immediately played down the rumours, stating, "It's appalling to me and offends me very deeply. It's so awful that I have to deal with millions of people thinking I would dance on my friend's grave."

Ledger quits Noyce’s Dirt Music film
Source : The West Australian
28th November 2006, 6:00 WST
Phillip Noyce’s highly anticipated adaptation of Tim Winton’s award-winning novel Dirt Music has been dealt a blow with the withdrawal of Heath Ledger.
Ledger was to have joined British Oscar winner Rachel Weisz in the multimillion-dollar production, scheduled to be shot in WA in the middle of next year.
But Ledger’s role as The Joker in the next Batman movie means the 26-yearold actor will almost certainly drop out.
“Batman is a huge special effects movie so there’s no date on when they will finish shooting and be ready for us,“ Noyce explained over the phone from Sydney.
Noyce says that Ledger hasn’t worked for more than a year so it is understandable he would accept such a lucrative and interesting role.
“Australian filmmakers simply can’t compete against Hollywood studios in what they can afford to pay its actors,” Noyce said.
The veteran Australian director, whose latest film Catch A Fire opened last week, would not reveal the names on the shortlist to replace Ledger in the role of Luther Fox, the emotionally damaged poacher who falls in love with a depressed fisherman’s wife.
But Noyce said that it will have to be an actor of similar stature to Ledger, who vaulted into superstar status after Brokeback Mountain, to attract the millions needed.
Eric Bana is the logical favourite with the likes of Sam Worthington, Guy Pearce and Tom Long some way back.

Re: Possible movies
Found this note in Australian "The Daily Telegraph" (January 7,2007)
Read it and weep
WHO could forget Eric Bana in the movie Chopper, filmed in Melbourne seven years ago?
Bana's performance in that low-budget flick wowed Hollywood and projected Bana, 38, to international stardom.
Chopper fans will be elated to learn he has just signed up to perform in a sequel to the Aussie flick; this time, though, he'll receive $4 million for his efforts.
But it means more glorification of that unsavoury individual on which the film is based, Mark Brandon Read.
