Eric Bana joins Star Trek cast

Australian actor Eric Bana has been cast as the villain in the latest Star Trek film.
The Munich star has been cast as the film's villain, Nero.
It is unknown whether Bana would play a human or a member of the alien race, like a Klingon. As per the veil of secrecy that surrounds Trek, parts are being solicited and offered without scripts.
Although fan speculation is rife that Bana will be playing a pointy earred Romulan, an alien race, who in the original series were modelled on the classic Roman Empire.
Already on the Starship Enterprise crew for eleventh Star Trek feature film are Anton Yelchin as the young Chekov, the Russian-born navigator; Heroes star Zachary Quinto as the young Spock; and Zoe Saldana as the young Uhura, the communications officer.
Leonard Nimoy, the man who played Mr Spock in the original series and movies is also set to make an appearence.
The search is still on for an actor to portray the young Capatain James T Kirk, but rumours suggest Just My Luck star Chris Pine is the leading contender for the role.
Directed by Lost creator JJ Abrams, the new film, simply called Star Trek, is being written by Transformers scriptwriters Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman, and is due to start shooting next month.

If you look at Banalust´s fantastic Hi-Res version of the TOBG poster (Banalust´s livejournal), you can really see the bad ass "dangerous" Bana - He will be sooo good as Nero, the villain! Bana and JJA will make even me go to the cinema for StarTrek 
Those who only think of the Bana as Hulk know nothing  Just wait - they will be veery surprised!
