Re: Star Trek 2008
Hopefully will see it Monday, we have to try to get a babysitter!!
Judi, I've never watched it, but 'Heroes' is about people with superpowers here in the 'real world', and Zachary Quinto's Sylar is apparently a bad guy!!! It's an ongoing show in it's third season I think so if you tried to watch now you might be totally lost, but there's always Netflix to rent the previous seasons to keep up, or epis are probably on Hulu.com so...

Re: Star Trek 2008
OMG people I saw it and It was amazing. As a total trekkie I loved it. I thought the cast amazing, and of course I thought Eric was fantastic, although he wasn't in it as much as I would have liked. But go see it, it was just amazing!

Re: Star Trek 2008
Thanks Lourdes & Saw for the Mother's Day greeting!
Zachary Quinto - the bad guy! Oh, what a switch it will be to watch him in Heroes being bad. I did see a picture in some mag over the weekend, of how he looks 'normally' - what a difference.
Saw: Isn't the makeup great nowadays? They did so many closeups of Spock/ZQ and his ears & you couldn't even tell they weren't his own. I wonder if they do have to do something digitally to make it look so perfect. I know they didn't have to do much with Eric's ears - The cast has signed on for two more movies - Yeah! and I really am thinking about seeing this movie again - it had so much action that when I thought about it afterwards, and was going over the scenes again in my head - I realized I was so tense that I want to see it again so that I can relax and really savor the scenes moments. I gotta tell you when the three of them (Kirk, Sulu & ? were jettisoned out of that craft HEAD FIRST! I could hardly breath - and the scene seemed to go on forever. Phew! So enjoy seeing the movie with your brother-in-law!
Angela: Hope you get to see Star Trek today.
Ericlover: Yeah! wasn't the movie great. I don't know if this is a spoiler or not - but what did you think about the scene near the end - Spock VS Spock? I need a bit of an explanation on that one - but we will wait until everyone sees it.

Re: Star Trek 2008
Good for you Mickiala! I was thinking of getting one of those glasses also. With my luck tho, I shouldn't drink out of it, because I have broken every glass, glass that has come into my house. I would have to put Nero glass on display only.

Oh, Mick. . . . that's too funny - Eric on the back of Frosted Flakes. But that's my favorite cereal. Perhaps I should pick a box up and gaze at him while chomping on the cereal.
