The Castle (1997)

Has anybody seen this film?
It's said to be very hard to understand so they rated it with R for language. But it should be very funny. I'll get it in a few weeks and I'm a little afraid of it even if it's enough to watch the pictures Image

Is it the film with the bride in the horrible dress? emoticon emoticon emoticon

Hmmm, it'd be nice to watch it, I guess. Please tell us a review after watching it, Tina!

I've seen The Castle! @ lui: yes, it's the one with the bride emoticon Eric's not in it quite enough - he has only a few lines... but the movie overall is pretty good. It's not a blockbuster, but it's a really heartwarming story.

The Castle is a good movie, it's very funny! Eric, plays the son in law to the main character, he is a kickboxer, he's not in it a lot, but it's still an Ok film. He has such a funny haircut in this movie, but he still looks good! emoticon

Oh Bummer.....it sounds like "The Castle" is weak!
Small parts of Eric, funny haircut?

Cr*p!!!!

I've been waiting for this DVD in the mail for two weeks now because I had to have it shipped here from Australia.

Oh well, at least there's a little bit of Bana in it...

Sighhhh....

Ok, I got my copy of "The Castle".
(Yes, still hopelessly waiting for Troy DVD) Image

I thought it was a cute movie.
Eric does have a very small part in the movie.

Althougth when he is on screen he looks great! Image
YES! I did pause it on all the Eric's parts of the movie.

He looks so young and sweet in this film.Image
I'm very glad he took this part so that he go onto other bigger and better roles.

Because Eric's part is so short, I only recommend buying this DVD if you are a "Hardcore Eric Fan".

Re: The Castle!

I just watched The Castle. A friend sent me a copy. Luckily she put the subtitles on, although now after seeing so many Aussie-movies with Eric I start to getting a little bit used to this accent emoticon What a pity Eric is not the narrator. I would love listening to him all the timeImage The Kickboxing looked kind of funny. He seemed to know only one hit and turn emoticon

All in all a funny and sweet film. What a crazy, but lovely family.
