Mari: I rented Romulus last weekend. Cried at the end. Don't know why.
But the Blockbuster by me said it wasn't going on sale until May or June.

I just rented the dvd recently. We didn't even have it for sale.
I thought it was a good film and Eric was wonderful. One of his best performances, I must say.
It was too depressing for me though, I needed a little more happiness, but it was a true story and that's how life is sometimes unfortunately.
The movie reminded me a little bit of Angela's Ashes, which was also based on the memoirs of Frank McCourt's childhood. (sad one too) Well it was actually based on the book, but that was a heartbreaking read, as well.

Mari: Yeah, I rented it also, the day it came out to Blockbuster's. They told me it wasn't for sale yet, (  ), but they told what I could do was rent it, but just never bring it back, and then they just charge your credit card for the price of the video. So that is what I did. Now part of my movie collection of the Bana.

Does anyone know when the film will be release on DVD in Europe (Region 2)??
I still haven´t seen it 
Unfortunately the US or Australien DVDs don´t work on my DVD player....
Hope someone will upload it to youtube sometimes

I bought this film a few days ago in Poland then I think it is in Germany too. ( this same region 2).
If you want I'll buy for you and send you to Germany but language is English ( or Polish  .
I check in net when this film will be release in Germany and send you a message.

I found a release date for Germany a few days ago!
It will be released here Nov 14th as "Unter der Sonne Australiens".
Stupid title I think but I´m glad I can finally watch the movie!!
