A friend of mine got an autograph. Guess it took almost a year until he answered. Two of her friends met Eric just one week ago in Berlin. Can't say the one or the other happened to me. Jewels saw him when he was filming The Time Travelers Wife but otherwise no idea.

Cleio: Oh dear. Would you believe in the fall of 2006, I traveled to London England. It was meant as a vacation, but I also knew that Eric was filming TOBG. I kept reading London newspapers on-line to see if I could find out anything. Well, I read that he was filming in the small town of LaC***, outside London. So I took two buses (with my girlfriend) out of London, got to the above town, - AND ALL OF THIS IN THE RAIN! - trudged up a hill, only to find out that I had missed him by two days! I broke down & cried - for pete's sake. I figured that was the closest I was ever going to get to him.
One of the girls here, did see him in Toronto, Canada where he was filming TTTW last fall. She yelled out to him and he waved. So she got real close. Another girl in here, was in Australia, and was trying to figure out how to cross the street without getting hit, when this SUV stopped and the driver waved her on - IT WAS ERIC! When she realized who it was she started to melt, Eric smiled, and waved. She had an urge to run over and jump into his vehicle, but he had his wife and kids in there, so she was worried she would be hauled off as a troublemaker. 
We have thought of going to Melbourne & seeking him out
He is quite aware of the Banatics, however, as our name has been brought up in interviews with him- he smiles.

thanks browneyes for this "small strories". But I am more desperate! lol. I dream to see him at the "first" of one of his film in Paris...maybe a day! 
I am agree with you: I must to go to melbourne...maybe a day too! 
Good question CoolangelB (or angela I think, no?). I have recently meet a teenager who is fan to Eric. I was so happy! I am not alone in France! But when I asked her why she is fan she answered: "because, he is beautiful"!!!! I am young (20 years) but I am not fan just because he is "beautiful". He is the best actor and I admire his career. So I hope that he do the difference between his "fans" and his "true fans"!

CoolA. . . Yes, I know about his not wanting to know about the ages of these women fans - I thought he might be more afraid of hormonal-whacked 'older' women. (like myself) I figure if I ever met him, he could sit me down & share a coffee/chat & then help me across the street. (as if I need that!) 
Cleio: Yes I think the same way - I think he is adorable, but that is not the main reason I am a fan of his.

Oh, yes, Camille & Judi, he is a very good-looking man, tall dark and handsome, & those eyes, so dark and intense on film!!! 
But yes, he is an amazing actor, and I just love that he's a real family man, always talking about his wife and children, even having them travel with him while he's shooting movies (the kids are old enough now), and he refuses to move to Hollywood because he doesn't want to deal with all the superficiality & nonsense!
Just an all-around classy guy, especially when he wished Edward Norton good luck on 'Hulk 2'!
