Re: Music !! No Banafan I've never seen them in concert ,but I would like to. Have you ever seen Switchfoot? Haven't seen them either. I really like his voice. It reminds me a little of Bono/U2 earlier years. I have been to 3 of their concerts a while back. Do you like U2?
Re: Music !! Well, 5 de mayo it's not really the big thing. Big parties (here in Mexico) are on September 15 (Independence day) and sometimes last next morning . Those days everybody drinks and eat typical mexican food, people make big parties and everything is fun.

I have been to Switchfoot's concert 2 times, the first was when they were promoting their first CD and the second was when they release their 2 CD. And they were great both times. And you know living here in San Francisco, we get every Band that is out there here one time or another here. It's just that sometime either you don't have the time or money to go and see them.
And mari1 where are you from???
And as for U2 I like them too, I love their CD (How to Dismantle an atomic bomb). This CD came at a time when I was having problem with my daughter who at 18 wanted to move out on her own. And I would listening to this song “Sometimes you can’t make it on your own” over and over again. And now it saddens me every time I hear this song.
Re: Music !! Wow! that sounds like a load of fun Dee Dee.
That's how we do it on ST.Paddy's day. Lots of friends and family, eating traditional foods, listening to great music, everyone just being silly and having a good time. Oh yeah, and lots of drinking! Just hate those hangovers the next afternoon!
Re: Music !! Yeah, lots of fun, we do just what you said, only is a different day. The next morning always tends to be terrible, but the headache is worth for the fun!
So sorry, that U2 song makes you sad. Their music combined with our own personal experience makes for very moving songs. I hope one day you can listen to it and not feel so sad. Perhaps, you can try and think of happy moments with her next time you listen to it, I'm sure it's not easy.
It must be really nice to live there and go to all those concerts, but I understand, tickets are so expensive these days!
Oh!, and I am from Okeechobee, FL.
