It won't be the worst for Galahad to have somebody full of enthusiasm. When I saw him a short while ago he looked really strange. As if he has to carry all sorrows of the entire world on his shoulders.
Tina shakes her head.
He is so young but his glance was so gloomy and sad. He shouldn't have such an expression. But his eyes may twinkle when he'll see her. I'm anxious of them as couple
Somehow she has the feeling something was wrong but she doesn't think long about it. Tina puts her thoughts away. She really starts to see things whose aren't real.
And what about Bradley? No I'm not sad about his confession and I don't want to barge in his life. I'm neither unhappy nor does I disfavour his choice. It's strange to tell or describe my feelings.
Sigh
She turns to Luinarys and glances at her
I sound crazy uh? I don't know what's wrong and it's hard to describe it. No I'm not unhappy with his choice. I know her she's a very lovely person. Reliable, helpful and just kind. And it seems she loves him too. I mean that's not usual for these days. Well, I can't say what's wrong, maybe I'm afraid of losing him? I always had a very close relationship with my brother and I have to share him now
Tina laughs, a sad laughter
I don't know what's wrong with me at the moment. I'm afraid of everything and it's so ridiculous.
She stops talking and makes a break before she continues and answers if she's unhappy with her brother's choice.
Me? Really not! I'm not highborn too so I'd never have a problem if she's a baseborn woman. If father wasn't raised to nobility after his heroic deeds I won't be here today. So I think I'm just shocked cause I've never expected her.
Tina tries to smile but it falls flat
Besides I decided to send Siobhan back home. She's so sad lately, so strange, I guess she's missing home. *sigh* I don't know she doesn't speak with me much and that makes me sad. I don't want her to hate me but I also don't want her to go back home. To send her home means to stay alone. Nobody around me who is that close - that's quite hard and I don't dare to think about it.
I'm not allowed to tell her she's my brother's choice. He'll murder me. Not before it's official. Not before father knows it
At least it's good Brad is here. I won't let her go alone so he could accompany her.
An uncertain glance
I'm afraid of letting them go. It doesn't matter if he's with her or not. I'm still wondering he came the whole way just to let me know he wants to marry. I'm already afraid of letting Tristanir go although he's gifted to cope with his sword and he's together with knights, men those have learnt to fight but Bradley isn't the best concerning that.
Are there problems about having a baby? Just problems with the past and sad memories.
I guess...Tristanir would love to have a family but well I'm afraid of become a mother. No not of be a mother but of the birth itself. Too many things happened concerning that. I sound very weak today uh? Really hate that.

And I don't think Arthurian will remove Tristanir from office that he could stay with us. Besides he doesn't want to stay at home the whole time too. Tristanir is born to be knight he will die at home just with his family and his holdings. It won't make him happy and me too. Never noticed that men will be so fidgety when they stay at home for a longer time? I just can say what I've heard ... my husband never stayed that long with me.

I'm sure Bors still here! I can't imagine Arthurian holds a meeting without one of his loyal knights?! But I haven't seen him, neither himself nor his wife and I've to say I don't know her very well. Btw wife? Did they marry yet? I just know they were pulling his leg cause of his concubinage and all their kids.
Luinary stops at the beginning of the small stairs and Tina wonders why she doesn't move on.
She was amazed about the things Luinarys told her and tries her best not to show her thoughts. Tina reaches for Luinarys hand and turns her.
I know that it's not a secret that I don't like him but I hope you'll believe me.
Tina's eyes narrow and she was very serious
Dear friend, you are blushing when you speak of Count Riverwinds. Do you still like him? How are your feelings? I know these questions are very impolite. But for me it looks dangerous. Anybody could have seen it! You know that where are enough people who envy you, grudge you for being the stewards wife and they'd love to see you separated. What do you believe would they think when they see you both close on a bench? Dear, never trust him, never! I don't do it he's a guileful fox and he's still mad that King Eric didn't chose him for his steward but Arthurian, those family is not that united with the Kings family than his. I may be wrong but I think he has something up his sleeves.

Luinarys listen mindfully to Tina's narration about her brother Bradley, and her plan to send Shioban back home.
She's really sad about the loss of her handmaiden. Shioban is a lovely woman indeed ... I was oblivious to her solitariness. But she's near the king's court ...
Luinarys looks sympathetically at her friend. Sweety, don't be sad about your situation. You have such a hearty relationship to your family, although they live far away from Skye Manor. You shall be proud of that, dear! In contrast of my family, which broke down after Rikkard's death. I've never heard my father laughing again. She squeezes Tina's hand. You'll find another loyal confidante, I'm sure.

I've never thought about the option not to have children because of fears of birthing. I never questioned my duty as highborn lady and wife ... She "hears" the voice of her lord father in her mind: Luinarys, you are my eldest daughter ... you know your duty, owed to your house!
Luinarys smooths her robe out.
You're right, dear. A daughter is a godsend ... She blushes. ... it seems, that I'm too affected by the aristocratic doctrine of giving birth to a son. Forgive me, dear! She squeezes Tina's hands.
Then, she shows a tiny smile. Our children could play together during royal tournaments or our visits. Later, they could write letters and helping each other. It'd be so wonderful ...

All dead ... all lost their lives during this cruel war ... Luinarys feels sadly. And after Rikkard's death, father did me this favor for a dolorous sister to string Keanu along ...
Her hands vibrate. I disappointed all, who hoped for a strong pact between two powerful houses ... I betrayed Rikkard and his wish for House Riverwinds ... but what could I do against my heart? I couldn't deny my feelings for Arthurian ... I was too weak to refuse his proposal.
Luinarys sighs again. Now, my failure gains on me ... She rubs her eyes.
Well, dear, it was a mistake to talk to him alone in the garden, I know that. But ... he is a noble man - he was a close friend of my deceased brother - he will be Lord of River Hall after his father's death.

Then suddenly, Luinarys hears a noise, which seems to come from a scrub of wild roses near the lily pond. Her face becomes pale ... and she looks anxiously in the dark.
Tina, what was that? She whispers to her lady friend.

Fanatic stands there unable to move. She knows it wasn’t right to spy on them, but she is too curious. She moves a little bit closer to understand what the women were talking about.

Their dresses were just beautiful. And I am always very curious, therefore I crept closer. I am really sorry. Please belief me. I didn’t mean to listen to your conversation. Fanatic feels nervous. She looks down her dress and recognises how bad she was looking. She has leaves and small branches all over her. I just had to laugh when you talked about prince Orlandolas. I met him this evening and I didn’t like him at all. He is so arrogant. You wouldn’t belief it. I have no idea why all those little girls are so fond of him. Well, I’m not that old either, but I see through him... But the king was very mad at him, after he, Orlandolas was being rude to me. What a great king. I never had expected him to be that noble. Out where I live, there are not very many men like him. But my father had raised me with a lot of men around, so I do not really mind. But this stupid little prince...excuse my language...I’m really annoyed by him. Fanatic forgets who she is talking to, somebody she (thinks she) has never met before. But there are other men at this tournament. I met one on the way. He helped me to fight off some thieves. A very kind man. And handsome, too. She adds a little bit softer, but the women hear it anyway. Not that I would have needed his help... I’m pretty good in handling a sword, but still it was very pleasant to see that there are men out their that want to help others...

She has to think of King Erictor – the handsomest and strongest king for a long time, in her opinion. His incredible gorgeous brown eyes … his cute smile … and his polite manners … Luinarys blushes a bit because of her thoughts. I’m married – but our king is a special man … I fear, I’d become weak …

Oh I'm sorry, didn't I tell you? She bows slightly. My name is Lady fanatic of Hogwarts.
Not my first feast?! My father has taken me to quite a lot of them, althrough I never really liked it. Stupid dresses, stupid good behavior... But she doesn't say anything about it. She knows that is nothing a Lady would talk about. She tries to swallow down her anger.
My father wasn't able to come by himself, therefore he sent me to represent our house at the feast, which, by the way, has already started. She looks triumphant. That was something they had not expected. quote:

He didn't look like a knight. Nor anybody who would be in the service of our king. belief me i have seen alot of knights ans normal men. But he is neither of them. But I yet do not know who he is.
But now she realised how much she has been talking and stopps talking all of the sudden. She knows the rules of (a Ladies) conversation, but she never follows them. More often she starts to argue with the people and finds herself sooner or later in (big) trouble.

Tina heard it too. Since a few minutes she thought there was something outside, something she couldn’t assign to anything.
Is it Tristanir? No he is as quiet you will note him first, when he’s in front of you and for some people it was too late then.
She has to giggle inwards. Tina doesn’t know why but she notes him always, it was a feeling and he often sighs because of that but it won’t change. She was serious again and listens to Luinarys.
She is so lovely. Born to carry out her duty. To be mother! She won’t understand my fear of birth. In some way it’s ridiculous but well, my grandmother and two of my aunts died while a birth. My mother was very ill after Andrews’s birth. She needs a long time to bear down her disease but never recovered completely. I won’t live like her, like a shadow of myself. Here but even so miles away. Praying the whole time when my husband’s away although I can’t give him anything when he’s here. No I’d prefer to be dead instead. But if it happens it happens. I’d love to be together with Tristanir but honestly to less time to have the possibility to conceive at all. Fate? And the stuff with Count Riverwinds. She got me totally wrong. OK I’m not sure if she likes him or not. Now where she’s full of doubts but people don’t care about that. They just see him and her on a bench. A married woman whose husband’s away the whole time. It was no secret that Keanu has more than amicable feeling for her and everybody know about the plans of her and his fathers’. Friend or not friend, a ruffled ego of a proud man could cause more than hatred.
Tina starts to answer Luinarys when both of them hears it

I’d wish to have my bow with me. Anything to defend us. But if Tristanir would see it he’ll getting angry. She mocks him in her thoughts. My wife doesn’t need to defend herself. That’s MY job. She shakes her head. Defend his wife while he’s miles away. Great imagination.

She was far away immediately it seems as if she was just a watcher who sees three women talking to each other. A scared one, a fresh one and one who stands there saying nothing.
Am I this woman? So quiet? Why don’t I help Luinarys? Why do I watch them impossible to say a word? Tina reminds of Tristanir's words. To watch is more important than to speak. Watch people and their behaviour, their facial expressions and their gesture and you’ll know more about them like talking to them. Look out. You’re part of the kingdoms inside circle! Times are over where you can trust everybody
Tina grabs for Luinarys arm. She should stop talking. No more talking of anything what is happening here. No talks.
So your father sends his daughter to the court alone? Tina rises her eyebrow Even in Hogwarts you ought to hear of the risk to travel alone. Also for knights it’s dangerous so it’s really nothing for a lass like you….

The feast didn’t start so far they put it off for a few hours. I don’t think we’d sit there if it already takes place. So you have enough time to dress. I understand you feel much better in whose clothes but I guess it would be a bit…ehm…unfitting.

Tina turns toward Luinarys. They stand close together.
Dear, it’s better to head off. I guess there are waiting two men for us. We should go on with our talk in private soon. I have to clear up a few things.
While she was speaking the last sentence her eyes point at Lady Fanatic. Tina turns towards her.
I don’t want to do harm you but think of what you’re saying. It doesn’t matter what but sometimes walls have ears and each word about King Erictor and his brother will reach him. Words whose are handed over to many people could sound much different in the end and that could cause big trouble. Just a little hint my lady
