I attended the Apple SoHo Store interview when he discussed "Love the Beast" and he made a side comment that he doesn't have tattoos.
He said it when mentioning some people's attraction to body art.

Also if you click on the following link, scroll down to where it says S1160 Steve Broderson and let the video play (the first 18 min is of Tim McGraw and family, but at about 19 min. there is a 1 min clip of Eric coming out of the nightclub and the papparazzi is just hounding him, he takes a few pics, and signs a few autographs, even though it took the video a few min to load to 19 min, it was well woth the wait, the video is of the photos above. He is with the guy from Jailbreak.
