Currently reading some Harlequin romance trash, last hardback was 'State of Fear' by Michael Crichton, pretty good even though he's really just a hack IMHO, but he died last year so I shouldn't say anything bad about him...

Great idea babila.
I just finished reading the Southern Vampire Mysteries "Sookie Stackhouse Series" by Charlaine Harris. Great books! Fun, different and interesting! The new HBO series True Blood is based on these books.
I've just started the Twilight series. Just finished the first one and am now reading the second book New Moon. Enjoy these very much too!

I've read this last Christmas the whole saga of "Twilight" and I liked it a lot.
We have to talk about the books, ok?
Ummm,"Sookie Stackhouse Series" sounds interssting too but I'm not sure if I could find it here in Italy.

Okay - well - I am going to start reading a history of Ireland. While there I asked my GF Irish Mary's daughter, who works in a book store to pick one out for me. Always try to pick up a book where I have traveled. But gee, not quite as interesting as vampires.

Ginny: Okay I will have to go home & find out the name of the Irish history book. Actually, what I am going to do is read it & let you know if it is worth it. Yes, the Great Famine was quite an episode in their country/history. So many of their men had to leave the country to find work. Irish Mary says that every time the economy goes downhill, and their men (& women also)leave the country, hearts of families are broken. They, like the rest of the world, are at this time experiencing economic woes because the manufacturing jobs are going to Poland. Labor is cheaper there now.
Did you buy your book on the famine from a large, three story book store in Dublin? If so, that is where Irish Mary's daughter works.
Yeah gads, no matter what chat thread I enter, I babble. Such fun.
