posticon Pottermania - Harry and the Banatics

Due to the release of book #6 "Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince" and film #4 "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire", we need a HP topic, imho. emoticon

Anyone already read book #6? emoticon
Honestly, I am not a huge HP-fan, BUT I couldn't wait emoticon - therefore I booked it and got it the morning of July, 16th emoticon Yeah, now, I know who the Halfblood Prince is! emoticon
Well, my opinion is that the book is a bit better than #5 and we get more information about V. than ever before (which was really due)!

And here are some movie stills from GoF:

Thanx, babila! emoticon

Well, in the beginning, I didn't like HP, because I am a huge LotR-fan and among my friends, we had an "Anti-Potter"-attitude towards the movies and books emoticon But later, my sister borrowed me her books and the DVDs and suddenly I became a (wee) fan of the young wizard. emoticon

I haven't read the first 2 books, because I watched the movies, but I read all other parts - and I must say, that I mostly liked book 5 and 6. emoticon In the opinion of most readers, HP#5 is too long and boring, but I enjoyed reading it! emoticon I think, book 5 is important for Harry's further development as teenager and young adult - and of course as talented wizard emoticon And we learn more about his friends Hermione and Ron, as well as some other school fellows.

Book 6 is darker and we get many information about Tom Riddle and his time at Hogwards.

I'm very curious of the film #4! emoticon Have you already see the teaser? It hasn't been shown here in Germany, but I found it online here.

And here are some more movie-stills (found at the leaky cauldron emoticon

Yeah, I'm very curious too.
I haven't seen or read anything about it but I think that we can see it here in Europe this next Christmas...

Oh! thanks for the link of the trailer and the leaky cauldron. emoticon

Hey thanks a lot emoticon

I always thought Sean Biggerstaff who played Oliver Wood (Gryffindor Quidditch Captain) is a cutie, a bit young, but cute emoticon

Hey, you're absolutely right, Tina! emoticon
I watched HP1 recently and thought the same! emoticon
But I liked the actor of Tom Riddle, too. emoticon

Yes he will, and I'm really looking forward to see him doing that...I'm sure he's very good as Voldemort..he has such a voice and such eyes!! If Alan Rickman's in the new movie as well then there's two of my favorites! yippee!!

Hmm, Fiennes isn't my Voldemort - actually. I won't say he's bad but well he doesn't fit my imagination emoticon Above all after I've seen the young Tom Riddle

Image

Tough I've to say if he looks like that, I guess I can live with it.

Image

But please don't ask me who fits...lol

I know it's a long way but I hope the werewolves will look better in the future emoticon

@ Lui: I read an interesting theory about Snape and what he's done in AthbP...not sure if I can post it here or if you've already read it on BR?

Ah and I found this

It's so worse that it's nearly good again emoticon
