The next day Orlando and Nikki got up really early to get ready for the wedding. But 7:30,their house was bombarded by not just their friends,but the media also.
"God I wish they would just go away,"said Nikki before she was rushed off to be with the girls.
"Well,they aren't going to go away any time soon,"said Orlando.
"I know.I have to get used to it."
"Are you going to be ok love?"
She nodded. "Yeah. What about you?"
"Eh,don't worry about me love. I've got everything covered."
"I'll see you in a couple of hours then?"
"I guess so."
"Nikki...there's something I want to say before you leave."
"Yes?"
"I love you."
"I love you too."
"I think you're going to be just fine love."
"Thank you."
"Well,I guess I'll see you then. Johnny's not going to leave me alone if I don't get over there."
"Same with Laura."
"She actually showed up?"
She hit him a little and gave a face,"Orlando! She's my best friend. How could she not show up."
"Ok,ok. I'm sorry."
"It's all right. I have to forgive because it's our wedding. Now you'd better hurry up."
He kissed her cheek. "Ok. I love you!"
"I love you too. Now go!"
He smiled and walked off and Nikki went be with the girls. I'm just glad that I'm going to be marrying you Orlando,she thought. I wouldn't marry anyone else other than you.

Chapter 60
The wedding went very well and according to plan. The media was forced to stay across the street so no one would disrupt the wedding. And the good thing was that no one did. But once Orlando and Nikki came out of the chapel cameras were going off like crazy. But they knew what to do. Just smile and wave until they got into the limo and then they could go to the hotel without any problems.
"Wow. That was fun,"said Orlando as they got into the limo.
"My head is killing me,"said Nikki. "But other than that,yeah it was fun."
"Are you going to be ok for tonight?"
She let out a big breath and smiled. "Yeah. Why wouldn't I be?"
"A little out of breath there love?"
She laughed. "Yeah I guess I am a little."
"You did just fine."
"Thanks. You did too."
"How was everything with the girls?"
"Oh my god. I wanted to get out of the room soooooo badly."
"That badly?"
"Laura wouldn't shut up."
"Ooooooh."
"How about you?"
"It was all right. I wanted to be with you though."
"But you know how the saying goes right?"
"I don't think I follow you love."
"It's bad luck to see the bride before the wedding."
"Well,I saw you before the wedding and nothing happened right?"
"Yeah. I guess that's true."
"It's just a silly supersition love."
"Yeah. I guess you're right. At least I don't have to worry about anything else now...well...I guess I shouldn't say that."
"I've got a surprise for you tonight."
"You can't tell me now?!"
"That would ruin the surprise love. Yeah,that's true."
"But I know you're going to love it."
Knowing Orlando,she thought,I probably will.

"I am so getting some sleep,"said Nikki as the entered the hotel room.
"You don't want to go downstairs yet love?"asked Orlando with a worried look on his face.
She shook her head. "Not yet I don't. You have no idea how much these shoes are killing me."
"Are you going to be ok?"
"Yeah. I'll be fine. I just need a few hours to rest and then I'll be back in these killer shoes."
"I'll get you another pair."
"Don't worry about it. You don't have time anyways."
"Are you sure love?"
She smiled. "Yes. You go out of your way for me too much you know that right?"
He hugged her and kissed her. "That's because I love you."
"I'll be fine,I promise."
"Well,I'm going to go downstairs and talk to the guys."
"Come and wake me around 4:00 ok? And you had better not forget!"
"Now how would I forget that?"
"Thank God you have a watch."
"Yes,well,it does come in handy. I love you,"and he walked out of the room.
"I love you too,"she whispered as she fell into a deep sleep.

A few hours later,Nikki decided it was time to get up.Luckily for her,it was only one in the afternoon,but she still had to get her dress on for the reception.
Where the hell is my dress,she thought as she ran around the room in a crazy dash. I've got to call Orlando and ask him where he put it!
A few mintues later his cell phone started to ring as he was talking to Johnny and Karl. "Excuse me,"he said as he stepped out of the room. "Hello?"
"Where the hell did you put my dress?!"said Nikki,still freaking out.
"I put it in the closet with all your other clothes love."
"You aren't joking about this...right?"
"Look in the closet with all the other dresses and you should find it Nikki."
She sighed. "All right.I'll look again,and you had better be right. Hold on for a sec." She put the phone down and ran into the closet...and there it was. Right were he had left it. She went back into the room and picked up the phone.
"Well..?"he asked.
"Ok.You were right.Thanks."
"No problem."
"I'll be down there in about 10 minutes."
"Take your time love."
"Well,I want to see you.You've been down there without me for way too long."
"Oh,and how I've missed you."
"Oh shut up!"
He laughed. "I'll see you in a bit love."
"Ok."
"I love you."
"I love you too."
"Bye."
"Bye."

About ten minutes later,Nikki was in her new sparkling blue dress.She walked out of the room,walked to the stairs,and then stopped. I can't do this,she thought. What if I trip while walking down the stairs and I fall flat on my face and everyone laughs at me?What if Orlando walks out on me after tonight and never comes back and I have to raise Elizabeth on my own?Anything can happen after tonight.
But I shouldn't be worried about any of those things.This is our night and I can't just sit in my room scared for no reason.I'm a strong person.I may be a hurting person,but I shouldn't be hurting today.Orlando's not going to leave me.He loves me.And this is our night,so I should just put on a happy face and pray for the best.Ok,here goes nothing.
She then smiled,confidently,and walked down the stairs.She didn't notice that Orlando was talking to some of the guys in the hall.But the talking ceased as she came down the stairs.All eyes were on her.Orlando then walked over to the bottom of the stairs to wait for her.
"You said ten minutes.I was starting to get worried,"said Orlando as they walked into the room.
"I got scared,"she whispered.
"Scared? Why?"
She sighed. "I don't know."
"Are you all right?"
She nodded. "Yeah. I'm fine."
"Are you sure you don't want to tell me what's wrong?"
She shook her head. "It doesn't matter. It's just some stupid thoughts."
He pulled her closer to him and look her directly in the eyes. "Then you had better tell me.You know me."
She sighed and laughed. "Ok.But this is going to be really stupid.You have to promise not to laugh."
"When have I ever broken a promise?"
She gave him a serious face."
"All right,all right.I get it."
"I thought you might leave me after tonight,and never come back."
"Now why would you think what?"
"I guess it's because I've never had any good luck with men."
"But I'm still here...right?"
She nodded. "Yeah."
"I'm not going to leave you Nikki.I love you too much and you know that."
"I know.That's why I didn't want to tell you. But I'm glad I got that out of my system."
"Let's have fun tonight ok? This is supposed to our night. But I promise you that I'll never leave you."
"Thank you."
He kissed you. "You're welcome love. I love you."

At seven everyone went into the ball room where the reception was being for Orlando and Nikki.
It was very noisy while everyone came inside.The paparrazis were around every corner,trying to get shots of the new bride and groom.But they weren't going to stop anything.
"Everyone,I'd like to propose a toast,"said Orlando as he stood up and raised his glass.He looked down at Nikki and smiled. "To my beautiful wife Nikki.I hope this is the beginning to not just a wonderful marriage,but to many happy years for us. I'm glad to have you and Elizabeth in my life right now.Without you guys my life would not be complete.I love you both very much."
Nikki looked like she was in tears even before the speech was over. And then she stood up and raised her glass. "I would like to propose a toast too.Orlando,I just want to say,if it wasn't for you,I wouldn't have the will to carry on.Because of you I'm still living,and I'm very grateful to you for being there for me and Elizabeth. You and your family are the only family I have at the moment.And you all are wonderful.Thank you so much,"and with that she smiled again and sat down.
"You did that very well,"Orlando whispered in her ear.
"Are you sure? I felt like I rushed it a bit,"she whispered back.
"No,it was fine."
"Thank you."

Soon after that,the dinner meals were served.And then after that it was time for the two to cut the cut,and then hit the dance floor.But before that,Orlando had something to say.
"I just want to say,thank you all for coming here today.If it wasn't for all you,then Nikki and I wouldn't be able to have this special night."
Nikki smiled and nodded.
"And I just need to ask Nikki something."He looked down at her and smiled. "Nikki,would care to dance?"
"I'd love to."

The party lasted until about three in the morning.Even by two everyone was starting to get tired.Nikki and Orlando waiting by the door for about thirty minutes to talk to everyone about what a good time they had and soon on.
"God I'm glad that's over,"Nikki said as she threw off her shoes and collapsed on the bed.
"Oh was it that bad?"he said.
"Oh shut up!You know I'm just kidding.I'm not kidding about my feet killing me though!"
"I told you we should have bought another pair."
"Yeah,but what would be the point?"
"You're so funny,"he smiled and kissed her.
"I wonder how Elizabeth is doing."
"She's probably doing fine hon. You don't need to worry about her."
"Orlando,I have every right to worry about her. She's only a baby. And she's there with someone she doesn't know..."
"We'll call home in the morning all right love? But right now we should get some sleep ok?We've had a long day."
She smiled. "Yeah. You're right."
"I can't believe I'm a dad and a husband now."
"I can't believe I'm a wife and a mother now. People are now going to refer to me as Mrs. Bloom....I like that."
"I like that too."
"All right. Well,I'm going to sleep."
He kissed her. " 'Night."

Nikki didn't get an ounce of sleep last night at all.She was too worried about Elizabeth to even think about getting sleep.And Orlando knew something was right either,especially when he got up at 7:00 that morning.
"Nikki,are you asleep love?"he asked.
She shook her head,but didn't say anything.
"Still worried about Elizabeth?"
She nooded,and once again,did not say anything.
"Remember what I told you last night?"
She sighed. "I know. But you know I can't stop thinking about her.She is my daughter after all and I love her."
"I know Nikki. I love her too. But she's with someone that I know we can trust all right? You on the other hand,needs to get sleep."
"Sleep is the last thing I need right now."
"That is not true Nikki. Sleep is the most important thing for you right now."
She laughed. "Stop sound like my mom!"
"I'm not joking Nikki.I don't want you to get sick.That usually happens to people when they don't get sleep,"he put his hand on her face and smiled. "I love you and I want what's best for you."
She sighed. "All right. I'm sorry."
"Now go to sleep and I'll be here when you wake up ok?"

The next morning when Nicole woke up,the first thing she saw was Orlando's smiling face.
"Good morning,"he said as he kissed her.
"Good morning to you too."
"I guess you had a pretty decent sleep."
She let out a little laugh. "Yeah. Well,I guess that little talk we had kind of helped."
He smiled and kissed her again. "Now we have to get ready for the honeymoon."
"When are we leaving."
"Tomorrow afternoon."
"Then I'm going back to sleep. I don't need to deal with all those reporters and the media right now."
"I think they're all gone."
"Trust me. There are still some poparazzi out there. As soon as they take our picture they're going to run off somewhere and get their big check and probably come back for more."
"God I hope you're wrong."
"God I hope I am too."
"I called the sitter earlier so you don't need to worry about Elizabeth."
She sighed. "Thank god. I hope she wasn't causing any trouble."
"She wasn't. Sounds like she's taking a liking to our sitter."
"Good. Then maybe we can be on this trip a little longer."
"Oh very funny."
"I'm serious! I just need to get away from everything for a week or a month. Maybe even longer than that..."
"But you know I can't."
"Yeah I know. But I'm enjoying the moments I have with you before you have to go back."

Nicole decided that getting a little extra sleep was something that she needed, so she went back to sleep and didn't get up until late that afternoon. Orlando had already been up,but she wasn't surprised.
"Good afternoon sleepy head,"he said as she woke up.
"Good afternoon to you too."
"Decide to finally get up?"
She gave him a look,but was half-smiling too,"Oh ha ha.Very funny."
"Want to go get some lunch? That is...if you're ready."
She knew what he meant. "I think I'll be fine. How many are still here?"
"Just a few I think."
"You don't know do you?"
"I haven't been downstairs in an hour baby."
"I was just kidding."
He gave her a look. "Oh very funny." He smiled and kissed her.
"God I could just stay here. Screw the honeymoon."
"Are you sure about that?"
She laughed. "No I'm not. I still want to go. You know that."
He smiled and kissed her again. "Good."
"Have you talked to the sitter at all this afternoon?"
"Only once and everything's going well still."
She sighed and smiled. "Good. I'm going to go take a shower and then we can go out to lunch."
"Don't take to long now."
"Oh very funny!"she said as she went to take her shower.
