Re: Oscar Blog

Well, it's a pity Penelope Cruz won't wint the Oscar.
I saw "Volver" and I think she does an incredible work and the film is very good.

BACWOOD! Can you believe it?! Eddie didn't win the supporting role Oscar! I was shocked! I really thought he was going to get it! I know you must be dissapointed dear, but at least Jennifer Hudson got her Oscar.

The other winners really didn't suprise me. It was a pretty good show, though very long.

What did you think about those shadow dancers? Pretty cool!

My favorite moment was when "Forrest Whittaker" accepted his Oscar. What a beautiful acceptance speech.
I also enjoyed Helen Mirren's acceptance speech.

I know you're going to dissagree, but I thought "The Queen" should have won for best picture. I knew it wasn't going to of course.

Ok, I'm sure I'll have something else to say later.

Btw babila, Penelope didn't win, but she sure looked beautiful.

See, told ya I was gonna have something else to say. Read your winners list again.

Very happy that Pirates of the Carribean 2 got an Oscar.

I would like to have seen "Apocolypto" win too, especially for best costumes!

The comedy routine with Will Ferrell, John C. O'Reilly was funny. They should have added Borat in there too.

Re: Oscar Blog

Mari I was so dissapointed when Eddie didn't win, for me that was the "The" award of the day. They went with Alan Arkin because he is a veteran, back in days he was twice nominated but still this was Eddie Murphy's Year.

What do i think about those shadow dancers?
I loved them, it was unique. I never so something like that.

And Mari it was a beautiful when Forest Whitaker recieved his oscar and his speech...there are no words for that.

About the Queen, It was a good movie but not good enough for a win. For me Babel had to take the best picture home, because it really felt like an oscar movie The Departed not.

Bacwood, I'm really sorry Eddie didn't win. I know you were hoping for it.
My favorite for best supporting role was James McAvoy even though I knew he wasn't going to get it.

Yeah, I've never seen anything like those dancers either. I loved it when they came together and made themselves look like an Oscar!

Forest's speech is the best one I've heard at The Oscars. emoticon

Well, I knew you wouldn't agree about The Queen. I just thought it had pretty much every category that was Oscar worthy. emoticon
